Item Details: Old Abe Cast Iron Case Eagle - This eagle is 60" high and 24" wide on the three-prong base. All original paint, one pedestal has been repaired, please see the pictures for details. The owner of this rare Case Eagle is a former Case Dealer, and has been displayed in his yard since the 1960's. 

About Case Eagles: Vintage Case Implement outdoor advertising eagle sitting on top of the world. Also known as "Old Abe" The statues were created for the Case Dealers to put to use at their locations, and they did so from 1894-1969. In 1969 Case wanted to modernize their logo, so they asked each of the dealers to return their eagles. Only a fraction of the eagles was sent back, roughly 1,000 of these were made. Don't miss out on this rarity of history.
